Membership of the Federation is a fundamental requirement within FairFund’s unique structure. Due to the constitution and charter of the Federation, the Federation accepts no third party liability of any description which includes giving financial advice and / or handling cash belonging to the public. It is for this reason on making an application to be a member the member is entitled to certain privileges which include the right to sponsor a project in the member’s jurisdiction of choice. The initial Membership fee is €10,000.oo (ten thousand Euro) which entitles the member to make application to sponsor a project up to a value of €200m. On projects of a greater value the membership fee is 0.005% of the estimated amount of the project.
Members of the Federation are entitled to attend at the Annual General Meeting of the Federation of FairFund Foundations which will alternate between a northern and a southern hemisphere location and which will be held to coincide with a Commonwealth Business Council forum.
